Jambo Corp takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Jambo:

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) require designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The guidelines define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Jambo is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level A. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

Jambo is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Chrome on both Mac OS and Windows
  • Microsoft Edge on both Mac OS and Windows
  • Safari on Mac OS
  • NVDA screen reader on Windows

Jambo is not compatible with:

  • Internet Explorer
  • Browsers older than three major versions
  • Mobile operating systems older than four years

Technical specifications

Accessibility of Jambo relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

  • HTML
  • WAI-ARIA
  • CSS
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure Jambo's accessibility, some limitations may exist. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for Jambo:

  1. At this time, drag-and-drop functionality does not have keyboard support. This impacts the following areas of Jambo that are available to account administrators and managers.
    • Contact import, duplication match, and merging
    • Account categories configuration
    • Project subproject configuration
    • Lands configuration, including regions as well as datasets and layers
  2. The keyboard is unavailable for panning and selection within Jambo Geospatial tools, including the map tool. Record selection is available through the associated record grids.
  3. Creating dashboards via Custom Dashboards (part of Jambo Insights) is not currently accessible by keyboard.
